Directions to First Baptist Church, 984 West Maitland Lane, New Castle

From Armstrong County, most of Butler County (except those on the I79 corridor) and Slippery Rock area.
Take 422 West toward New Castle. Take the right fork when 422 splits into 422 bypass/422 business, by following signs for Youngstown/ 422 West. Continue on 422 bypass (pass Washingon St, pass Moravia St. Road becomes I376/US422. Pass State St(224) exits) until you come to the 422 West/Sampson Street exit. Bear right at Sampson then keep left, take the left fork toward Youngstown. At the first light (about a mile), turn right onto Pulaski Road (there’s actually a turning ramp). After about 1.5 miles you will pass under the highway (I376). The second left turn (real soon after the first left) is Maitland Lane. Turn left onto Maitland Lane and go about one half mile. First Baptist Church will be on your left.

If you miss Sampson St exit, go to the next exit “Mitchell Road”, go east(right) on Mitchell Rd to Rt 18, then follow directions from New Wilmington. This is actually easier but a little bit longer.

From I79 corridor in Butler County: take I79 north to 422 then follow directions above.

From Slippery Rock area: Take 108 into New Castle.
When you get to downtown, turn right onto Washington St and proceed through the main business district. At the “diamond” turn right onto Rt 18 North (Jefferson Street). Go about 3 miles through numerous stop lights. You will eventually pass McDonalds (on your right). The light just north of McDonalds will likely be blinking. Go to the next stop light (Huntington Bank on your near left/ Weingartners Florist on your far left, Coney Island just ahead on the right) and turn left onto Maitland Lane. Go about 1 mile and you will find First Baptist on your right.

From New Wilmington/Neshannock north:
Take Rt 18 South (Wilmington Road) past Giant Eagle and down the hill. Pass Coney Island on your left then turn right onto Maitland Lane. Go about 1 mile and you will find First Baptist on your right.

From Ellwood City: take 65 north to 422 bypass then follow the directions for Armstrong County or go into downtown New Castle and continue below.

From New Castle and Neshannock South:
Take Rt 18 north (Jefferson St/Wilmington Rd) Go to the stop light at Walmo (Huntington Bank on your near left/ Weingartners Florist on your far left, Coney Island just ahead on the right) and turn left onto Maitland Lane. Go about 1 mile and you will find First Baptist on your right.

Anybody that can’t find a way above that works for you, be adventurous. Go to downtown New Castle any way you can find to get there. Then follow the directions from New Castle.
